Product Form
Instructor: Noah Wangerin
Over the course of the semester students had two goals:
1. Studying existing products and discussing their design language and functional details. Trends were identified from details observed across multiple objects.
2. Learning SolidWorks, a modeling program that records editable build steps. They learned how to design within the program, editing the values within the build steps to achieve their visions. Final results were rendered in KeyShot.
These two elements came together with a final product, shared here, designed in SolidWorks around internal components. Working with components and considering manufacturing details was a way to aim for a realistic result.
