Coaching Clips
For every exercise, there is a specific form required in order to engage the correct muscles. I believe the form is more valuable than strength, as quality is often more important than quantity. As a powerlifter and personal trainer, I find both beauty and true strength in proper form. Proper form requires the individual to have complete control over their body and weight while performing an exercise. However, as the lifter engages with a heavier load, maintaining form becomes difficult, and as a result form is compromised. Coaching Clips records the lifter’s bar path, visualizes, and compares it to the ideal bar path. Any deviation from the ideal path tells the lifter what part of the exercise they need to improve.
One of the first principles of design I was taught was “form follows function”. At first, it made sense to me because it was logical. But as I spent more time learning design, I also started to think about different approaches and looked at things from a new perspective. So why can’t function follow form?
