In Flux
It is important to stay in line with ourselves and our identity. But how do we maintain something that is constantly in flux, shaped by the environment we come from, inhabit, exist in? We live in a time that makes it easy to disembody ourselves, our minds entrenched in the vagaries and hypocrisies of the digital world. I am an itinerant photographer, always on the look-out for the tiniest detail. Invariably, the things that catch my eye reflect some of the innermost trajectories of who I am. As a designer, I turn the lens toward the viewer— not for my benefit but for theirs— to remind and encourage them, as individuals, to align themselves with what is true and constant about their environment and to discover, or rediscover, their vision of themselves.
