In the urban environment, there is no respite amidst a bombardment of sensorial assault. From the stench of piss; the sounds of automobiles, people, and life going on at all times; to the piling social duties we must uphold. There is no way for the urban commuter, in their busy lifestyle, to take a break in the park all the time, considering how far and few between any nature is for any one person in the concrete jungle. It’s no wonder urban dwellers are 24% more likely than their rural or suburban counterparts in accruing and mood/anxiety disorder. After many interviews and research, Bounds is a family of outerwear which allows its users to find a moment of rest amidst a panic attack by “turtling away” in the middle of a crowd. With careful consideration, Bounds allows its users to find a cozy spot no matter where they are on their travels while still fitting into societal norms as to not garner unnecessary attention.
