Spending too much time on social media undermines our emotional state and devalues the connections between ourselves and others. It’s a vexing medium. An unhealthy addiction, some call it. Many of us have learned from hard, sometimes traumatic experiences that not everyone’s a friend, not everything is true. In fact, we are not in charge, we are not in control. Social media messes with our minds, our relationships, our self-esteem. We become gullible, targets of manipulation and scams, many of which are extremely covert and subtle. As a designer who has experienced many of these things, I am compelled to speak up and speak out. My latest work is a call to action, a radical public service announcement. It pulsates and throbs, captivates the viewer’s eye, and, in a manner of speaking, refuses to let go. Sound familiar?

This publication is a representation of a personal diary. Every spread within this diary acts out as a poster with personal stories and experiences.
