Sustained Takeout
Single use food packaging is a tremendous source of waste. It is easy to place blame on individuals, but a limited selection of sustainable food delivery options maintains the wasteful status quo. My project aims to create a more eco-conscious opportunity for restaurants and consumers. By providing an avenue for packages to be returned through the mail and re-used, the carbon and material footprints of ordering takeout can be reduced. Before the advent of single use packaging container return was the norm for objects like glass milk jugs and cans. Let's update these systems to address our current needs.
